Brandywine Realty Trust Receives Energy Star Label for Two of its Buildings

Posted in | Energy Efficiency | Green Building

The US Environmental Protection Agency’s much honored Energy Star label has been received by Brandywine Realty Trust for its two buildings that include Three Barton building in Austin and 600 West Germantown Pike building in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania. These two buildings are the fifteenth and sixteenth Brandywine buildings to accomplish this designation.

George Johnstone, senior Vice President of Operations and Asset Management for Brandywine Realty Trust, remarked that the Trust is honored to accept the Energy Star label from the US Environmental Protection Agency approving its two buildings among the most energy efficient buildings in the country. These designations according to   Johnstone are evidences that project the company’s focus on optimizing energy efficiency and sustainability throughout the company’s portfolio.

The Energy Star label is earned by organizations through the usage of the national energy performance system developed by the US Environmental Protection Agency to generate energy-efficiency ratings for the buildings of these organizations.
