Geothermal heating and cooling systems installed by the company are available from GeoComfort. The GS060 single stage geothermal heat pump is designed for single stage operation. It is available in vertical and horizontal configurations. This heat pump has air handlers and split compressors as optional. It is available in different sizes ranging from 1.5 to 6 tons.
The GS060 single stage geothermal heat pump uses ozone-safe R-410A refrigerant. It incorporates a Copeland single stage scroll compressor for quiet operation. The drain pans in this heat pump are made of corrosion-proof stainless steel. This geothermal heat pump consists of PSC blower motors, an oversized copper coaxial heat exchanger, and as options, a Cupro-Nickel coaxial heat exchanger and ECM motors. This single stage heat pump can be fitted with a hot water generator or desuperheater to provide additional hot water for domestic use.
The GS060 single stage geothermal heat pump is insulated with foil backed recycled blue jean insulation. It includes a bolted cabinet with white powder coat finish. There are removable panels for accessing the internal components to provide easy servicing. The GS060 single stage model has a heating capacity of 50,200 BTU/h and a cooling capacity of 62,700 BTU/h. It has a heating capacity of 3.5 COP and a cooling capacity of 16.2 EER. Other features of this geothermal heat pump include digital controls, condensate overflow sensor, coated air coils, insulated refrigerant circuit, protected flow switch and an external service LED.
