New Energy Technologies declared that for the purpose of commercializing its SolarWindow technology, which is competent to produce power on see-thru glass windows, has filed four new patent requests with the Patent and Trademark Office of the United States.
The company has so far made 10 new patent requests for its SolarWindow technology and 18 applications at the national and international level for its MotionPower technology.
Recently the researchers engaged in the development of SolarWindow at the company have accomplished an important objective that assisted in the fabrication of 1’X1’ prototype a right step in the commercial production of the product.
Some of the innovations developed by the company that are related to its trademarked SolarWindow includes surface applications that continue to remain see-thru whilst producing power, power producing coatings that can be sprayed over glass surfaces and power generating coatings that can be put on at room temperature level unlike other products that need specific temperature and pressure susceptible production facilities.
It has introduced an improved array architecture and solar cell arrangement to improve the power production capabilities of the modules and transparent contacts to transfer the power produced on SolarWindow without transparency loss. The introduction of substituting compounds that supports the easy flow of negatively charged electrons to improve the generation of power and other production methods to improve the power production capabilities of modules.
