Clean technology is any product or service that harnesses renewable materials and energy sources, eliminates emissions and wastes, reduces the use of natural resources, and enhances the productivity, efficiency or operational performance.
Deforestation is the loss or removal of a forest or clumps of trees on a very large scale and converting the resulting land for non-forest uses. Deforestation is becoming a global problem with extensive environmental and economic consequences.
Solar farms cover a large area of land, and hence they are commonly developed in rural areas. Thorough planning procedures are required to get approval for the construction of solar farms. Planning includes consideration of suitability of the site, relevant renewable energy targets and any impact on the locality.
The pursuit of clean energy to preserve the environment has become a necessity now. Non-renewable energy sources on the Earth are depleting at an alarming rate.
There was a time not so long ago when hybrid cars were the sole domain of mainstream manufacturers and were synonymous with uninteresting cars with excellent fuel economy. But, as that famous Bob Dylan song goes, “the times, they are a-changin”.

Hydrogen fuel cells are cells that contain hydrogen as the fuel. Hydrogen fuel is a zero emission fuel that releases energy during combustion or through electrochemical reactions. Fuel cells and batteries produce an electric current through a chemical reaction, but a fuel cell will produce energy as long as there is fuel, thus never losing its charge.
With the 2014 Formula 1 season well under way, it seems appropriate to take a look and see how this form of motor racing it is gearing itself toward a more sustainability future.
