Yingli Solar, Senelec Ink EPC Contract for 2 MW Ground-Mounted PV Plant in Senegal

Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited ("Yingli Green Energy" or the "Company"), the largest vertically integrated photovoltaic ("PV") module manufacturer in the world, known as "Yingli Solar", today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Yingli Green Energy Spain, S.L.U ("Yingli Spain") has signed an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract with Senelec (Societe Nationaled'Electricite de Senegal), the stated owned utility company of Senegal,for a 2MW ground-mounted PV plant, one of Senegal's flagship PV projects.

New Solar Energy Project at Prologis Concorde Distribution Center to Power Nearly 200 Homes in Northern Virginia

Dominion Virginia Power will install more than 3,000 solar panels capable of generating more than 800 kilowatts of electricity – enough to power nearly 200 homes – at the Prologis Concorde Distribution Center in Sterling, Va. The panels will be installed on the rooftops of two adjacent buildings on its campus and will cover nearly 102,000 square feet.

Houston Food Bank Receives $100,000 Donation from NRG Energy for Installation of Solar Array

Today the Houston Food Bank received a $100,000 donation from NRG Energy, Inc. to support the installation of a solar array at the 308,000-square foot facility just east of downtown Houston. Before the end of summer, new solar panels atop its expansive warehouse and distribution center will convert energy from the sun into more meals for hungry children and adults.

Constellation, PsomasFMG and City of Palmdale Jointly Open 976-Kilowatt DC Solar Generation Project

The city of Palmdale today announced the completion of an aggregate 976-kilowatt DC solar generation project. Located at Palmdale’s Civic Center, DryTown Water Park and Marie Kerr Park, the system is designed to generate more than 1,580 megawatt-hours of electricity per year and meet nearly 70 percent of the electricity needs for the three sites.
