TransCanada Acquires Two Solar Power Plants from Canadian Solar

Canadian Solar Inc. (the "Company", or "Canadian Solar"), one of the world's largest solar power companies, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Canadian Solar Solutions Inc., has completed the sale of two solar power plants, Brockville 2 and Burritts Rapids, totalling 16.0 megawatt AC and valued at over C$95.0 million ($92.2 million), to TransCanada Corporation ("TransCanada") on September 30, 2013
