Amid growing concern over the surprisingly large amount of greenhouse gas produced by the Internet and other telecommunications activities, researchers are reporting new models of emissions and energy consumption that could help reduce their carbon footprint. Clean Coal Technologies Seeks Dissolution of Good Coal Joint Venture with AGPL

Clean Coal Technologies, Inc. (the “Company”), an emerging cleaner-energy company utilizing patented technology to convert raw coal into a cleaner burning and more efficient fuel, today announced it has sent a notice of default and termination to AGPL Investments Pte. Ltd. (“AGPL”) pursuant to the default and termination provisions of the September 21, 2012 EPC Payment Agreement, the Heads of Terms Agreement dated effective March 13, 2012 and the Joint Venture Agreement in Respect of Good Coal, Pte. Ltd (“JV”) effective June 5, 2012, including the Exclusive Technology License Agreement incorporated therein. Under the default terms of the above, the Company is also seeking the immediate dissolution of the Good Coal joint venture.

Solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) directly convert chemical energy into electrical energy. Although an overall efficiency above 95 per cent can be achieved at an operating temperature of nearly 900 degrees Celsius, a certain amount thereof is waste heat and can currently only be used for domestic hot water supply or heating purposes.
