RBC Bearings Incorporated has received clean energy manufacturing federal tax credits totaling $8.3 million from two awards for the development of its wind turbine bearing facility in Houston, Texas.
Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) has granted approval to Greengate Power Corporation for the construction and operation of its Halkirk I Wind Project. The company has scheduled to commence operations of the facility during the first quarter of 2011. The construction of the project is expected to begin during later part of the year 2010.
GE has signed contracts with HECIC New Energy to supply 88 wind turbines for three new projects that are to come up in Hebei and Shanxi Provinces. HECIC New Energy is one of leading wind energy developers in China.
