Hanwha Q CELLS to Increase 2016 Solar Module Supply Agreement with Sunrun

Hanwha Q CELLS Co. Ltd. ("Hanwha Q CELLS") today announced it will increase its 2016 solar module supply agreement with Sunrun, the largest dedicated residential solar company in the United States. Through the partnership, Hanwha Q CELLS will become one of Sunrun's main suppliers next year providing up to 135 MW of modules, nearly three times their previously signed module supply agreement in 2015.

SolarWorld Announces Supply of 8.75MWp of Solar Panels for DTE Energy Projects in Michigan

SolarWorld, the largest U.S. crystalline-silicon solar panel manufacturer for 40 years, announced today that the company has supplied a total of about 8.75 megawatts-peak (MWp) of American-made solar panels for DTE Energy projects in Michigan, including the state’s three largest solar systems.

EDF EN Canada Commissions 74MW Mont-Rothery Wind Project

EDF EN Canada Inc., a subsidiary of EDF Energies Nouvelles Group, is pleased to announce the commissioning of Mont-Rothery wind project. This 74 megawatt (MW) project comprises 37 turbines of 2 MW each supplied by Senvion. Construction of Mont-Rothery commenced in 2014 and reached commercial operation on December 1, 2015. Electricity generated will be delivered to Hydro-Quebec Distribution under a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement.
