SolarEdge Technologies, a PV monitoring and Distributed Solar Power Harvesting solutions provider, has entered into the Italian market by partnering with Albatech S.r.l, an Italian solar products distributor and turn-key photovoltaic solutions supplier.
The power harvesting solution of SolarEdge Technologies includes multi-string solar inverter, a monitoring portal and module-integrated power optimizers named PowerBoxes. This solution facilitates the generation of around 25% more power from PV installation, even while decreasing complexities and costs.
The PV market of Italy, one of the largest in Europe, has exhibited a two-digit growth rate over the past few years. This market includes large-scale, commercial and rooftop PV installations. The solution of SolarEdge Technologies enables system owners and installers to benefit from real-time module-level monitoring, constraint-free design, enhanced performance, theft prevention mechanisms, optimal site-area utilization, improved safety and reliability.
During May 5 – 7, 2010, SolarEdge Technologies will demonstrate its solution in the SolarExpo 2010 exhibition at the Albatech booth in Verona.
