Spire Solar Systems Receives GSA Contract

Spire Corporation has received a United States General Services Administration (GSA) contract and is currently listed on Schedule 56 of GSA, as a Small Business entity under Special Identification Number (SIN) 206-3.

Spire Corporation is a solar company offering turnkey production lines and capital equipment to Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) integration services and produce photovoltaic (PV) modules by means of its Spire Solar Systems operation.

The Schedule 56 of GSA is a contract that lists the prices of the products and services of Spire Solar Systems for which the Government has consented to make payment. This contract facilitates the customers of the Federal Government to easily and quickly complete agreements with Spire Solar Systems.

The new awards help Spire Solar Systems continue to establish its place in federal PV systems. The company has teaming agreements with a provider of systems and modules for the Department of Justice UNICOR as well as two other small businesses. Such associations and the GSA approval place Spire Solar Systems to provide numerous approaches to the requirements of the federal solar PV system.
