SunWize Residential Power Systems Introduces the Morgan Hill Solar Challenge

A SunWize Technologies, Inc. division SunWize Residential Power Systems has started a Solar Challenge in Morgan Hill, California. The Morgan Hill Solar Challenge, in an effort to increase renewable energy adoption rates, aims to augment clean solar energy of 60,000 W to the power production of Morgan Hill in 100 days.

The SunWize Solar Challenges had commenced in Oregon State. Started on April 22, 2010 the Morgan Hill Solar Challenge is likely to end on 31 July, 2010. SunWize Residential Power Systems is providing cash back to the solar customers of Morgan Hill as well as $6,000 in donation to a public charity named Morgan Hill Community Foundation, when the goal of 60,000 W is achieved.

Cash backs to the solar customers start from $100 and increments of $10 will be given to each additional participant joining the program. This program, in addition to the current federal tax credit and rebates, can cover over 50% of the cost of a solar system.

SunWize Residential Power Systems will be providing solar panels produced by SOLON, the company’s business partner whose panels are manufactured in the U.S.
