Alteris Renewables Acquires ISI Solar

Design-build renewable energy firm Alteris Renewables, Inc. has acquired New City, NY-based ISI Solar. ISI Solar is a designer and installer of solar electric systems meant for commercial and residential customers in New Jersey and New York.

The ISI Solar acquisition is the second of such acquisitions by Alteris Renewables in a year, strengthening its goal of providing affordable, quality renewable energy systems to schools, businesses and homeowners in the Northeast region of the U.S.

This acquisition will help Alteris Renewables expand into the markets of New Jersey and New York. ISI Solar will boost the growing operations of Alteris Renewables in Parsippany, New Jersey. Last summer, Albany, NY-based Renewable Power Systems was acquired by Alteris Renewables.

Alteris Renewables has over 15 MW of functional renewable energy and 3,000 installations to its portfolio. Recently, Alteris Renewables was named as one among five companies to use the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) stimulus funding of $10 million meant for solar initiatives in New York. The company is also a qualified partner for the 100 MW State Solar Initiative of the New York Power Authority (NYPA).
