Ritek Introduces PM230 Polycrystalline Solar Modules

Advanced Media, Inc. (Ritek USA) has introduced the 230-W polycrystalline solar modules PM230 with black frames meant for applications in residential rooftops. The modules are likely to arrive on June 1, 2010 at its warehouse. The black frame, being colored by means of an anodized dyeing procedure, is resistant to corrosion and durable.

Home owners are increasingly requesting high-wattage modules equipped with black frames. These black frames blend well into existing rooftops, thereby giving good appearance.

The PM230 modules of Ritek feature white back sheets for preventing the modules from becoming hot which leads to reduced efficiency. The output of PM230 module is +/-3% and efficiency is 13.86%. The Ritek PM Series of modules are displayed by California Energy Commission list (CEC list) as eligible candidates for California rebates. The PM230 receives 204.6 W in PTC rating.

The PM230 module weighs 46.3 lbs. The dimensions are: 1.65 inches (D) x 39.4 inches (W) x 65.3 inches (L).

The modules of Ritek are UL 1703, CEC listings and TUV certified. The PM Series of modules offered by the company are PM 175 (175 W), PM 220 (220 W), PM 220 (220 W), PM 225 (225 W) and PM 230 (230 W). The modules find applications in commercial grid-tied roof systems, off-grid solar plants, automated systems and residential purposes.
