Windterra ECO1200 Wind Turbine from Terralta

Terralta offers the Windterra ECO1200 Wind Turbine. This vertical axis wind turbine is suitable for installations in rural as well as urban areas. Unlike horizontal axis wind turbines this omni-directional, vertical axis wind turbine is not direction specific and  rotates on wind from any direction.

The ECO1200 wind turbine is designed to withstand turbulent winds and continue to function even under irregular airflow.  This compact wind turbine provides up to 190 rpm under normal working conditions and provides a maximum of 330 rpm under extreme weather conditions.

The ECO 1200 is offered as a total power-generation package, which includes the turbine, controller, inverter and the mounting system. The blade incorporated in the model is designed to provide a maximum power performance even at lower wind speeds thus offering increased annual power output. The Windterra ECO 1200 wind turbine provided by Terralta incorporates three vertical axis blades and provides 1000 W at 12 m/s wind speeds. The height x depth dimensions of this wind turbine is 2.25 m x 2.66 m and weighs 292 kg. This wind turbine accommodates to any pitch and offers adjustable mounting.

The rated continuous output power of this wind turbine is 1200 W, its continuous output voltage is 120 VAC and this wind turbine operates in temperatures ranging from 0 to 60ºC. This wind turbine incorporates a peak power tracking algorithm for dynamic loading. This grid tie wind turbine has a maximum efficiency of 87%. This wind turbine is UL1741 listed and complies with CSA 22.2 No 107.1 Standards.
