Allegiance Capital Corporation Endorses ‘Winds of Prosperity’ Report

Investment bank Allegiance Capital Corporation (ACC) strongly supports a study conducted by The Perryman Group titled "Winds of Prosperity". In February of this year, Dan Vermeire, the Vice President of ACC, was voted to Texans for Sustainable Energy Solutions (TSES), a team of business leaders established to assist the Competitive Renewable Energy Zone (CREZ) scheme. Dan has been instrumental in facilitating numerous transactions for private firms in the transmission and distribution (T&D) and renewable energy sectors.

The study indicates that investments in novel CREZ transmission lines and wind turbines that provide wind energy across the state will generate economic gains of $30 billion, generate thousands of jobs and generate around $2 billion in surplus local and state taxes. An average residential consumer in Texas is likely to realize savings of $160–$355 per year in electricity bills. In order to ease current grid constraints as well as to make arrangements for future growth, the Electric Reliability Council of Texas is contemplating to invest in the CREZ lines which can cost approximately $5 billion.

ACC actively engages itself in solar developments, wind projects and associated production companies.
