Humdinger Wind Energy offers turbine-less wind generators that incorporate Windcell windbelt aeroelastic flutter technology. Unlike the normal turbine using wind generators, which are expensive and bigger in size the Windcell windbelt generators are compact in size and costs less.
A single Windcell panel is made up of 20 x 1 m long wind belts fixed in a 1 m x 1 m frame. This system is modular and more units can be added conveniently for larger power requirements.
The Windcell flutter technology panels does not use spinning blades and use least number of moving parts. The wind panels can be assembled into vast arrays and easily installed. The windbelt aeroelastic flutter technology wind generators offered by Humdinger Wind Energy can be installed in locations that are hitherto out of reach of solar and wind energy installations.
This gearless wind power generator measuring 1 m x 1 m x 5 cm is designed to produce up to 7.2 kWh per month in 6 m/s average wind speed conditions. Each panel produces an energy equivalent to 24/48 VDC.
