ABS Alaskan offers the MX60 solar controller from OutBack power systems. This controller incorporates an MPPT system to check and correct the working of solar arrays at peak level production point in all types of cloudy weather conditions. The MX60 solar controller offers a top operating efficiency of 98% at 60 A with a 48 V battery and a 48 V solar array.
This solar controller offers a broad DC input range and extends 60 A DC output current rating for 12, 24, and 48 VDC systems, thus allowing flexibility in wiring and choosing the size of solar arrays. The reduction in the number of solar arrays saves on wire costs and allows easy faster installation.
This solar controller can operate in temperature ranges -40 to +60°C. The height x width x length dimension of the unit is 40 cm x 14 cm x 10 cm and weighs 5.3 kg.
The open circuit voltage of this module is 150 VDC in coldest conditions and 140 VDC during startup and normal operating conditions. The maximum solar array size that can be managed by MX60 solar controller is 12 VDC systems of 800 W/24 VDC systems of 1600 W/48 VDC systems of 3200 W. The voltage regulation set points of this MX60 solar controller offered by ABS Alaskan can be adjusted by the user and is password protected.
The status information of this solar controller is displayed by using an 8 cm backlit LCD screen with 4 lines and 80 alphanumeric characters. The RJ 45 modular connectors with CAT 5e cable wires allows easy communication with other OutBack products for integrated working.
