GeoScape Solar has unveiled its “Sun For All” program for helping non-profit firms make use of solar power This unique financing program extends the company’s current financing solutions to religious institutions and non-profits, for them to reap various benefits accruing from solar energy.
As a result, all kinds of non-profit institutions would be able to save up to 50% of their electricity costs, earning them valuable Solar Renewable Energy Credits (SRECs). The program would facilitate a mid-sized institution to generate an income in excess of $500,000 over 25 years.
GeoScape Solar’s program offers a major breakthrough in solar financing since it allows non-profit organizations along with its members in teaming up and sharing powerful financial rewards resulting from solar ownership. After 10 years, investing members become the benefactors. Jeffrey Chavkin, co-founder and president of GeoScape Solar, mentioned that the company makes it easier for community oriented organizations in reducing their energy costs considerably and in reducing their carbon footprints as well that arise out of using solar energy.
While most cost-conscious organizations with environmental commitment would like to switch over to solar energy, federal incentives that come along way make the benefits rather limited since they are feasible only to federal taxpayers. GeoScape’s management team has been reshaping the environmental landscape of New Jersey by catapulting solar energy mainstream.
