Centennial Solar offers the CS160 polycrystalline solar module. This module can be used for both on-grid and off-grid type of applications.
The anodized aluminum frame used in this module is pre-drilled for quicker and easier installation and withstands up to 300 km/h wind speed. This module incorporates tempered, high transmission, low iron, anti-reflective glass with a thickness of 3.2 mm to improve the power generation. The EVA encapsulation utilized in the module improves the performance of the solar cell and withstands all type of weather conditions.
The square type polycrystalline solar cells used in the module measures 156 mm x 156 mm in size and connected in 6 x 9 series. The antireflective coating given for the module reduces the light reflection rate and increases the cell efficiency. The CS160 polycrystalline solar module offered by Centennial Solar has a dimension of 1324 mm x 982 mm x 50 mm and weighs 16.43 kg. This solar module offers an open circuit voltage of 28.94 V, an optimum operating voltage of 24.0 V, a short circuit current of 7.35 A, an optimum operating current of 6.57 A and a rated power of 160 W +/- 3%. An IP65 junction box with three bypass diodes connects the module using a connector.
The maximum system voltage of this module is 1000 V and it operates in temperature ranges -40 to +90º C. This solar module meets the UL1703, IEC61215, IEC61730 and CE certification requirements.
