GLWN Focuses on Expanding Wind Markets

On June 16, 2010, GLWN will host its Advanced Wind Workshop in Ohio that has been designed for helping turbine designers, wind farm developers, component manufacturers as well as construction, engineering, logistics and maintenance companies develop connections to support and expand the region’s wind sector.

This program, which is to be conducted at the National Composite Center in Kettering, Ohio, is likely to feature industry leaders from companies such as Twenty First Century Energy, LLC and Minster Wind. This event will include small group panel presentations to facilitate high value networking time and discussions.

Director of GLWN Ed Weston said that this workshop has been designed for encouraging collaboration and that the company also helps in building connections for the growth of the local supply chain as well as the jobs in the wind industry. This workshop will also help create opportunities for its participants in building collaborations, which in turn will lead to the creation of new jobs and eliminate the gaps that exist in the local supply chain.
