Linuo Power and China Lead the Show at Intersolar, Germany

During June 9-11, 2010, the German Federal Photovoltaic Industry Association, the German Solar Industry Union and the German Union of International Solar Union together hosted the Intersolar exhibition in Munich, Germany.

In 2009, China accounted for 15% of the overall participants in the exhibition, with 196 companies from China taking part. Also in 2009, the worldwide solar cell production stood at 10.5 GW, with China contributing 40% to that total. One of the reasons for the growth of the Chinese solar market can be attributed to its government that provides subsidies for photovoltaic products. In 2009, the overall installation capacity of China was over 160 MW. The nation has been a major market for both consuming and producing solar energy.

In recent years, Linuo Power Group, a Chinese PV manufacturer, has made giant strides in the PV industry of China. Linuo Power Group has established a complete PV middle-to-downstream market chain for solar modules, solar cells as well as project integration. The company has facilitated the solar rooftop energy system with 1.6 MW capacity in Linuo Hi-tech Park and the Shigatse power station with 10 MW capacity in Tibet, in addition to ten other PV power projects. At the recent Intersolar exhibition, Linuo Power Group exhibited its sophisticated photovoltaic products, which are the BIPV double-glass curtain wall and high-powered black backsheet.

Linuo Power Group has presented its ambitious development plan of achieving solar modules capacity of 400 MW and solar cells capacity of 300 MW by the close of 2010. The company also hopes to achieve around 1,000 MW solar cells capacity in the next 3-5 years.
