Yingli Green Energy Americas Partners with DC Power to Target Solar Installations

Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited has announced that one of its subsidiaries Yingli Green Energy Americas, Inc. has inked a PV module supply contract with DC Power Systems till the close of 2010. Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited is a vertically integrated PV manufacturer and a solar energy company.

The solar panels of Yingli Green Energy Americas are being sold to homeowners by means of DC Power as well as other solar distributors. The Solar Energy Industries Association indicates that home grid-tied PV installations registered a growth rate of 100% in the U.S. in 2009.

The CEO and Chairman of Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited commented that by expanding into the market of North America, the company is offering economically viable products for renewable energy production.

Yingli Green Energy Americas’ Managing Director Robert Petrina stated that through this partnership, the customers of the company will obtain comprehensive value-added services such as installation training and financing options.
