The 1/8 in. thick heat exchange tube integrated in the pellet stove is seamlessly built and radiates heat comfortably with maximum efficiency. The heat exchanger retains and radiates heat for a longer duration even after the stove ceases its operations. The variable speed auger and the variable speed blower incorporated in the NPS40 pellet stove from Napoleon Fireplaces offers maximum comfort and heat control.

The hinged type of door design allows convenient access to the fire chamber of the stove for easy routine maintenance. The cleaning and filling rack installed in the pellet stove can be reached easily. The heating furnace of this pellet stove can be used for zone heating instead of heating the entire house thus saving costs on pellet fuel. This pellet stove is capable offering 8000–40,000 BTU heat comfort depending on the pellet fuel and the heat settings. The automatic igniter comprised in the stove allows easy starting operations. The burn pot of this stove is advantageously positioned to produce more active flame.

The safety features incorporated in the stove include an automatic blower over ride switch, high temperature limit switch, low air pressure switch and power failure safety shut down. The easy push open control panel available in the stove offers easy access operational features. An automatic air wash system keeps the front viewing glass clean.
