GulfRIm Navigation to Provide Sealite Solar Marine Lights

GulfRIm Navigation has entered into collaboration with Sealite, a global major in the manufacture of LED solar marine lights. Through this partnership, the SL15 1 nautical mile Solar Marine Light of Sealite will be offered in bulk quantities by GulfRim Navigation. These lights are currently being utilized to mark the Gulf of Mexico’s oil containment booms.

A sequence of navigation rules were issued by the US Coast Guard during May 2010 that included the usage of a row of rapidly flashing yellow lights with a speed of not below 60 flashes every minute. Additionally, on a clear night, the lights should be visible for at least a mile. Lastly, for marking a containment boom location, a yellow colored Buoy that is collision resistant, should be used.

Both the companies are available 24/7, in order to help out any contractor or company that operates on the BP oil spill with each of their Buoy and Navigational Lighting requirements.
