Pacific Blue Energy Corp. to Start 150 MW Solar Farm

Pacific Blue Energy Corp., a public equity company that develops projects involving recyclable energy, has announced its intention to buy 807 acres of land earmarked for solar energy in Gila Bend, Arizona. The company considers this option as a significant step in its way to become a developer of clean, renewable energy at an affordable cost.

The property considered to be a perfect site for a solar energy is offered in three separate pieces. The pieces of land are comparatively flat and do not have any issues with drainage and lies in close proximity to an electrical substation. Moreover, the local municipal authorities have classified the area in the solar energy zone, and three such solar projects have commenced constructions in the neighborhood.

Joel Franklin, CEO of the Pacific Blue Energy Corp., explained the potential of the site and how the larger free area will help for installing a 150 MW solar farm. He further explained on how the power production can help the local power lines to augment the capacity.

After taking possession of the land, the Pacific Blue Energy Corp. is planning to apply for building construction permissions and start the construction soon. As maintained by Joel Franklin, the company is planning to start and run the construction of the proposed Gila Bend solar project concurrently with its Sunshine Solar Farm project currently developed near Flagstaff, Arizona.
