The DC current diversion feature incorporated in the inverter allows usage of excess source current for supplementary applications, permits very low level voltage drop at source level and allows drawl of up to 90 A circuit during full capacity charging thus allowing  reliable battery charging performance. The GF-2470 model charge controller offered by Green-First Technologies can manage up to 2.2  kW of input and is suitable for high power producing standalone type of PV power modules. For the purpose of meeting various types of battery requirements the GF-2470 module offers charging voltage in the range of 25.5–31.0 V and its input power ranges from 24 to 42 V and 0 to 70 A.

This inverter is 100% RoHS compliant and has an indicator to show low normal battery charging. This module incorporates a DC diversion lug and consumes 9 mA current during the charging operations and 90 during diversion mode.
