REC Solar a solar power, providing company engaged in offering grid connected solutions for residential and commercial users, and Tigo Energy a company utilizing inventive photovoltaic expertise have announced the signing of a development accord to provide the newly developed Tigo Energy Maximizer Solution as a component in the commercial and residential solar installations offered by REC.
The technology devised by Tigo allows efficient supervision and increased control over the PV solar installations. The Tigo energy maximizer helps in the introduction of energy efficient modules that produce 20 percent more energy than the currently used conventional modules. The maximum power point control introduced at the module level removes the negative impact created by the partially performing solar panels over more potent panels.
The maximizer technology developed by Tigo Energy efficiently answers some of the currently prevailing key issues that block the growth of photovoltaic technology. The technology allows dynamic management potential, and heightened security for the solar installations connected to residential, and commercial utility.
Sam Ardity, CEO of Tigo Energy said the maximizer solution allows PV systems to yield more power which in turn helps the users of REC Solar system to produce more power and returns on the investment made.
Angiolo Laviziano, CEO of REC Solar said that his company has established more systems, than other system providers. He further added that REC Solar is always in the look out of emerging technologies and introduce them for the advantage of its customers. He praised the Maximizer solution provided by Tigo Energy and the benefit offered by its module level management.
