Premier Power Announces Solar Power Plant for Sicily

Premier Power Renewable Energy, Inc., a global major in the design, development, construction and engineering of solar energy systems for government, commercial and the utility markets in Europe and the United States, plans to construct a 0.5 MW solar power plant in Sicily.

Premier Power Renewable Energy is constructing this plant for the Italian timber industry leader Mirrione Francesco Legnami SRL, a homebuilder, wholesaler of wood and raw construction materials.

This solar power project has its location in Calatafimi town in Trapani, Sicily. The plant, while featuring a completely integrated installation, has the ability for generating solar electric power. The solar panels that are being installed deliver the identical functionality as conventional roofing materials. Thus, this system has been enabled and designed for receiving the highest feed-in tariff. This solar electric power plant enables the utilization of unused spaces that are available on the rooftops of Sicily.
