Littelfuse Expands on its SPF Solar Series with New Products

Littelfuse Inc., a global major in providing circuit protection solutions and products for solar applications, launched its new solar products the SPFR Series 1000 VDC Solar Fuse as well as SPFRHD Series 1000 VDC Solar Fuseholder.

Expanding on the company’s latest introduction the SPF Solar Series, these two new products offer broad-range circuit protection for the purpose of meeting the higher amperage as well as voltage requirements of various PV applications.

As the market requirements for the solar segment grows, the SPFR Series 1000 VDC Solar Fuse is being brought out in four ampere ratings 400, 350, 300 and 250 amperes. This solar fuse offers the key benefit of a standardized case size that meets the requirements of UL Class H Dimensions. The fuse also complies with the North American utility-scale and European system requirements. Moreover, its RoHS Compliance decreases environmental impact.
