Pro-Tech Energy Installs Solar PV System for Holy Name Friary

Pro-Tech Energy Solutions LLC has completed the rooftop installation of a solar PV generation system with 48.400 W power for a nursing facility Holy Name Friary located in Ringwood, New Jersey.

This self-funded turnkey company offers energy services along with renewable energy and energy efficiency upgrades in the Mid-Atlantic area. This PV solar system is anticipated to generate 50,500 kW of energy per year that would amount to about 10% of the annual electricity needs of Holy Name Friary.

Following a site visit on March 31 by the Environmental Stewardship Initiative of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, the efforts of the nursing facility were recognized. The goal of this particular initiative is to assist the regulated entities for improving their environmental performance much beyond the basic requirements of the current regulations and rules that prevail across various spectrums of sustainable practices and environmental stewardship.

The energy savings that result from the installation of this solar system would be equal to preventing 78,007 lbs. of CO2 from entering the earth’s atmosphere annually. The resulting environmental impact would be equivalent to conserving gasoline to the extent of 2,886.21 gallons annually.
