Dudek to Develop Desert Renewable Energy Project in California

Dudek, one of the leading environmental companies in California, has been chosen to manage environmental planning for the California Desert Renewable Energy Project.

For the Desert Renewable Energy Conservation Plan (DRECP), Dudek will be developing an essential environmental document. This integral step is towards the direction of realizing the goal of California in increasing its renewable energy resources.

Dudek’s executive vice president June Collins has been chosen as the project manager for leading the development of Natural Community Conservation Plan (NCCP). This plan is slated for the six-county area in the Mojave as well as the Colorado desert regions where renewable power facilities are scheduled for development.

This plan will facilitate in obtaining environmental approvals for endangered species as well as their protection while providing a framework for the renewable energy projects. The NCCP happens to be a mandatory process in California for establishing ways in protecting biological resources while facilitating compatible economic development.
