Nautilus Solar Joins Bright Power for Ontario Solar Projects

Nautilus Solar has expanded its Ontario operations with the establishment of Nautilus Solar Canada Limited Partnership (Nautilus Solar Canada LP).

This limited partnership entity has a contract from the OPA (Ontario Power Authority) for rooftop projects at a portfolio of 2.75 MW capacity. For these projects, the company has joined Bright Power Inc, a solar development company based in Ontario. Through this partnership, both Nautilus Solar and Bright Power will be developing and financing rooftop solar projects with 10 MW capacity in Ontario this year.

Over the coming years, the solar rooftop market Ontario is set to grow quickly through the FIT (feed-in-tariff) program. Nautilus Solar is also looking forward for reducing Ontario’s carbon footprint, working with the local community for creating green jobs and expanding the overall rooftop solar activity in Canada. Bright Power has rich expertise in the local FIT program and has extensive partnerships with commercial building owners.
