US Military to Pursue Clean Green Energy Installations

Recently U.S. Air Force has announced the successful installation of its solar-powered investiture in a bid to lessen CO2 emissions by minimizing the usage of fossil fuel. But this triggered an action campaign called ‘CO2 is Green’ by the fossil fuel industry lobby which supports the use of fossil fuel and generation of CO2 claiming that it sustains the plant life.

Solar installation at U.S. military base

The U.S. Air Force that relied on fossil fuels during the last century has understood the changing technologies and the problems and considers over reliance on fossil fuel as a hindrance for its military operations and is looking for new energy solutions and energy resources that can offer economical but efficient solutions, thus hastening its move towards the use of more solar powered installations after considerable compilation of data in support of its argument.

The fossil fuel industry in the US is fighting for its survival and lobbying for the continued use of fossil fuel. Recently the fossil fuel industry has launched ‘CO2 is Green’ website to garner public support and to propagate the benefits of CO2. Some of the claims of the lobby are creation of CO2, benefits plant growth and more CO2 emissions makes the earth green are snubbed as gibberish by others.

Currently the military is opting for cleaner energy by constructing energy efficient office buildings and by installing a leading solar power production facility in North America for its use.
