FM Generator Assists Massachusetts Commence Clean Energy Initiative

FM Generator has provided ultra-clean diesel power meant for a project based on solar energy at Boston Harbor’s George’s Island in Massachusetts.

By doing so, FM Generator has assisted the state introduce its novel clean energy initiative. For this $9-million project, FM Generator has provided as well as installed three Tier-3 level 60-kW FM POWER generators.

This installation will utilize solar energy for providing electricity for the visitor center, first aid area, landscape lighting, concession area and the docks in George’s Island. This solar project would also facilitate power lighting for Fort Warren. This project is anticipated to reduce the annual energy expenses of the island by around 75% while making use of the latest solar panels for charging a battery bank that will distribute electrical energy to the facilities of the island.
