Tanner Creek Energy has completed the designing and installation of a grid-tied solar electric system with 17.9 kW capacity at Goschie Farms.

Tanner Creek Energy is a provider of energy performance solutions and a general contractor. Goschie Farms, a family-owned, third generation as well as operated hop farming operation, is located in Silverton, Oregon.

Goschie Farms comprises hops covering an area of about 360 acres along with the additional diversification of about 600 acres for wine grapes, vegetable crops, specialty seeds and grass with a resultant yield in excess of 500,000 pounds of hops every season such as organic hops.

The sustainability practices of the farm include renewable energy as well as recycling. Tanner Creek Energy has assisted Goschie Farms decrease its overall operating expenses and decrease the consumption of non-renewable energy.
