Pro-Tech Energy Installs Solar Energy Systems at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst

Pro-Tech Energy, an energy services firm serving the commercial properties in the Mid-Atlantic region, has installed rooftop solar PV generation systems on two buildings situated at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst located in Burlington County, N.J. Pro-Tech Energy’s COO John Drexinger mentioned that the company is glad to be recognized by the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst for its contributions towards this project.

He lauded the U.S. military for superseding others in the mobilization of people, engineering as well as the operation of advanced technologies, among others.

The installed solar panels are estimated to have an overall production capacity of 155,100 kWh annually. This project will facilitate the base in showcasing its leadership qualities in the application of renewable energy as well as new technology for the purpose of not only reducing costs but also in obtaining savings from producing electricity. The annual energy savings will result in the prevention of 202,793 lbs. of CO2.
