Turbina IPD Ltd, a Bosnia-based company and a patent holder of vertical axis wind turbine, has declared its series of steps to get listed in Banja Luka Stock Exchange during early part of the year 2011 for improving its financial position as it had won the second place in 'Best International Trade' group at the Energy Innovation Awards held at Manchester, in the UK.
The vertical axis wind turbine indigenously manufactured and transported to the required location and assembled by Turbina IPD Ltd. incorporates a hybrid system and can be used along with solar panels for the manufacture of green energy which, functions even at low wind speeds without noise and vibration.
Miroslav Tesic, CEO of Turbina IPD, unveiled the company’s plans to amass around €2.0 million ($2.5 million) and allow trading of at least a quarter of the company’s shares in the stock exchanges. Tesic mentioned that his company needs to produce only a restricted number of parts since most of the parts are available locally to commence mass production.
Tesic further explained about his company’s intention of producing wind turbines that can generate enough power to electrify the mobile base stations that can be easily fixed on the top of the base stations of the mobile operators.
Turbina IPD Ltd. has its head offices at Kotor Varos, a municipality of Republika Srpska in northern Bosnia. The government of Republika Srpska gladly received the plans of Turbina and said that the government wanted to encourage the business located in the country and looking forward to providing a business friendly environment.
