Pro-Tech Energy Solutions LLC, a self-supportive company engaged in providing energy services to business holdings in the Mid-Atlantic area, has established solar photovoltaic power generation systems over the ceilings of two buildings located at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst within the limits of Burlington County, N.J.
Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst houses military facilities such as Naval Air Engineering Station Fort Dix and Lakehurst and McGuire Air Force Base. Pro-Tech has installed two solar panels one each, at Building 2635 Dining Hall and at Building 3104 Customer Service, to offer a total annual energy output of 155,100 kWh. Pro-Tech has concluded the project utilizing the services of Graybar, a St. Louis, MO-based company and a regular government contractor providing regular maintenance, repair, electrical data/communication distribution services and operation services to the federal government. The newly installed photovoltaic power generation systems will foil 202,793 pounds of CO2 emission and precludes ecological impact due to burning of 8,737 gallons of oil otherwise.
John Drexinger, who leads Pro-Tech Energy Solutions as its COO, said that U.S. military alone has the capability to venture into extensive projects with cutting-edge technologies and mobilize people in large scale for the support. He was pleased with the recognition shown by Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst by accepting the professional know-how of its technicians in executing the project.
