Wind Turbine License Agreement Renewal between A-Power and Fuhrlander

A-Power Energy Generation Systems, Ltd. has completed the renewal of its wind turbine license agreement with Fuhrlander AG. A-Power Energy Generation Systems is a leader in providing power generation systems based in China and is also a rapidly growing producer of wind turbines while Fuhrlander AG is a German-based wind technology firm.

Wind business acts as a key component in strategizing A-Power Energy Generation Systems’ long-term growth, while its partnership with Fuhrlander AG provides exciting prospects of continuing an extended market presence and towards realizing the company’s goal of becoming a leader in the Chinese turbine industry.

Following the renewal of its license agreement, Fuhrlander AG has granted A-Power Energy Generation Systems the rights for manufacturing, operating, servicing and selling 2.5 MW capacity wind turbines that make use of the F2500 technology of Fuhrlander AG throughout China. The license agreement presents a great opportunity for A-Power Energy Generation Systems to strengthen its market position in turbines with 2.5 MW capacity since the wind industry has been increasingly inclined towards higher capacity turbines.
