Minerco Resources Gets Approval for Chiligatoro Hydro Project

Minerco Resources Inc. has received the approval for a hydro-electric project. The company is a provider, producer and developer of clean energy as well as renewable energy solutions in South America. The company has received a formal approval from the neighboring communities towards its Chiligatoro Hydro-Electric Project in Honduras.

The communities of Togopala, Planes, Itibuca and Rio Grande submitted their formal approvals as a show of support for the project. This also goes to showcase Minerco Resources’ appropriate strategy towards the development of clean energy projects. The Rio Grande community, in specific, gets influenced directly by all the stages of the project such as development, construction as well as operations. It is the goal of Minerco Resources in ensuring a positive impact for all neighboring communities.

The Environmental Impact Study and Water Contract meant for this project has been approved by the Honduran National Commission of Energy while SERNA (Secretaria de Recursos Naturales y Ambiente) has signed the contract for this project’s 30-year operations.
