Qteros Chief Technology Officer to Make a Presentation at Northeast BIOMASS Conference and Expo

Qteros, Inc., developing an exclusive all-encompassing bioprocessing platform, for cost-effective, large-scale production of cellulosic ethanol has announced the participation of Kevin Gray, PhD, who holds the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer in the company, in the panel discussion to be held at Northeast BIOMASS Conference and Expo, organized by Biomass Magazine.

Dr. Gray is planning to deliver a presentation titled ‘Development of a Low-cost Biomass Conversion Process using the Micro-organism Clostridium phytofermentans’. This homily will be presented as a constituent of the panel discussion Cutting-Edge Conversion Approaches: Breakthroughs in Bio-refining. The panel discussion is expected to be held on Thursday 5th of August 2010 around 1.30 PM EDT at Westin Copley Place in Boston, Massachusetts.

Currently, Dr. Gray heads the research and development in Qteros and provides the required procedural standards mandatory for the commencement of product developments. Before joining Qteros, he worked for a Sandiego California based company Verenium Corporation as Senior Director of biofuels research and development. Dr.Gray completed his doctorate program in chemistry at Texas Tech University and holds a B.S. Degree in zoology from Duke University. He co-authored around 40 scientific articles evaluated by his peers and co-invented 22 patents and patent applications.
