Turner Bros. LLC to Offer Mobile and Crawler Models

Turner Bros. LLC accedes Liebherr LTR 11200, the prime telescopic crawler crane in the world, which is exclusively designed for the erection of wind turbine and lifting of heavy duty articles, which is an important addition to the existing crane fleet of Turner.

The new Liebherr LTR 11200 is in reality a crawler design of LTM 11200/9.1. The new design installs the telescopic boom over a slim track crawler framework and features the Y-suspension, the telescopic boom; the slewing platform and the lattice fly jibs, already available in the mobile version used by Turner in USA and Europe. The LTR11200 is designed to lift up to 1322 tons of weight at an 8 feet radius. The telescopic boom of this vehicle can reach from 60 feet to 328 feet and for the lattice job from 79 feet to 413 feet. During the lifting operations the crane is stably placed on a 42'x 42' outrigger base.

The new LTR 11200 crawler track comes with a width that is less than 16 feet and happens to be the tiniest wind turbine available in the market. The slim design of the wind turbine allows it to move through narrow roads in wind farms and other industrial set ups. With the inclusion of the crawler version Turner Bros becomes the only crane providing company with both mobile and crawler models.
