DRI Energy and SunEdison Ink Channel Partner Agreement to Deploy Solar Power Installations

DRI Energy, a DRI Companies subsidiary, and SunEdison, a MEMC Electronic Materials subsidiary, have entered into a channel partnership for deploying PV power plants in Arizona, Hawaii and California. Initially, this partnership is likely to deploy more than 19 MW capacity of solar energy.

As per the terms of this contract, SunEdison is likely to finance solar deployment agreements undertaken by DRI Energy with utility, government and commercial clients. Moreover, SunEdison will operate, own, monitor and maintain the solar power plant facilities that will be engineered, constructed and designed by DRI Energy.

Already, DRI Energy and SunEdison have deployed solar projects in a successful manner in California and have numerous projects presently under construction.
