Bella Energy and Town of Superior Partner for Installing Solar System

Bella Energy and the Town of Superior have partnered for installing 198 kW of solar power. These novel solar power plants have been scheduled to be completed by 2010 end and will be providing energy for the water treatment facilities as well as wastewater treatment facilities of the Town.

These solar systems will be producing electricity in excess of 280,000 kWh, which represents over 8% of the total electrical energy consumption of the Town. These solar systems will reduce the utility bill of the Town by over $14,000 annually.

Through the expected 25-year life period of the solar panels, the Town will obtain REC (renewable energy credits) payments from Xcel Energy amounting to $22,800 annually, while the investment of the Town will produce a perpetual income in more than $500,000. Bella Energy is a strong supporter of renewable energy.
