Saudi National Company Established to Produce Solar Power Plants

VISION (Vision Electro Mechanical Co.), a subsidiary of CPC (Construction Products Holding Company), has started a company with a capital investment of $150 million in Saudi Arabia for manufacturing, developing and operating solar power plants for generating electricity.

VISION has already started constructing a solar power field at the company’s industrial complex situated in Bahra in the Makkah region, under cooperation with a global leader in solar energy technology. This solar power field has been designed for working under extremely high temperatures in order to commensurate with the Gulf region’s atmosphere.

This pioneering project will enable VISION in introducing a new technology era into Saudi Arabia’s clean energy sector, keeping in line with the company’s objective of investment towards renewable energy projects. VISION has established its position as a pioneer in tapping solar energy as an alternative clean energy resource.
