PHOTON Consulting Releases Annual Report

PHOTON Consulting, a company committed to solar energy research and offering consultancy services to PV sector, has released its Solar Annual 2010 Part One report. The report released for the benefit of the solar decision makers provides five important factors with adequate details that can drive the PV industry through 2014 for the purpose of providing them the required risk management tools to manage the future and take important management decisions.

The report is based on various PHOTON postulations such as PV policy support, evolution in PV technology, prevailing interest rates, debt liabilities of various European states and other determinant factors such as photovoltaic supply, demand, production cost and sale price. In addition to providing approximate figures for each sector, the report enumerates the details of seven companies as examples at various levels of the solar value chain. The five important factors and the seven company case study examples are included in the report to attempt a data driven scenario study adopted by most of the energy companies to interpret the changes in the PV sector quickly and adapt it to their benefit.

Mark Farber, consultant and co-author of the Solar Annual report released by PHOTON Consulting, said the growth in solar sector is susceptible to changes in capital market situations, changes in energy technology and in the incentive policies of the government. He reiterated the need for the solar company employees and investors to get tuned to the situations based analysis to acclimatize with the changing trends quickly to understand the opportunities and risks in the solar energy market.
