Wind Simplicity Inc.’s Windancer, a small wind turbine, has become the only wind turbine that figured in the Taschen's latest global survey of sustainable products published in July 2010.
This wind turbine produced in Ontario, a Canadian province, is one of the novel product that featured among a number of projects rated from 20 countries all over the world including leading companies such as IBM, IDEO and New Deal Design.
The Windancer is a horizontal axis wind turbine that produces effluence free electricity from wind. It is compact and functions noiselessly. This product is featured along with 10 other renewable energy products in the book.
Sharolyn Vettese, who leads Wind Simplicity as its President and CEO and, inventor of the product, expressed his happiness about the choice of Windancer as the greenest wind turbine globally. He added that his company has designed the Windancer with utmost consideration on its durability and quality and life cycle of usage.
