Eoliatec to Install Wind Power Farm in Jalisco, Mexico

Eoliatec of Mexico, a power generation company, is set to install a wind farm in Jalisco, Mexico at an investment of more than $100 million. The wind energy project named Aeolus will be constructed in the Ojuelos, Jalisco municipality.

The plant will comprise 30 units of wind turbines of 2 MW capacity each. The wind farm’s overall capacity is likely to be 60 MW. The estimated annual production of the wind farm will be 180 GWh of electricity annually, equivalent to avoiding carbon dioxide by 102,000 tonnes. The energy generated in this wind farm is sufficient to power around 125,000 homes in Jalisco state.
