PVA TePla Gets Second Order from Tianwei New Energy Wafer Co Ltd

PVA TePla AG, a Wattenberg-based production facilities manufacturer for the crystallization of silicon and of vacuum and high temperature systems, has been chosen by Tianwei New Energy Wafer Co., Ltd, a Chinese company, to provide them with delivery systems to manufacture multicrystalline silicon ingots. The order valued around 5 million Euros is expected to be completed before the end of the year 2010.

This order is considered to be the second one received by PVA TePla AG from the Chinese solar manufacturing industry. The current client Tianwei New Energy Wafer Co, Ltd delivers the systems for the crystallization of multicrystalline ingots and has chosen the company exclusively for its production capability and functional reliability of the Multicrystallizers product manufactured by the company. Tianwei is engaged in the production of entire photovoltaic products right from the manufacture of solar silicon to the finished solar module.
